Unless otherwise ordered. The exceptions being; Drug stores , Real restaurants which serve regular meals, Hotels and Bakeries. ,Confectionaries hot considered restaurants. (Signed) W. W. The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of the said Board, Monday January 21st. 1918 . at 9 :00 o' clock A. M. All the members of the said Board being present , Messrs . Johnson, Taylor and Peltz . The following proceedings, were has- to-wit :- The minuets of the regular meeting of January 17 , 1918 and special meeting of January 18 , - 1918 read and approved. The Board reviewed claim bills against City for the amount of 6091.91 and allowed same . The Board approved and allowed various ray-rolls up to and including January 15, 1918. Moved by Mr. Peltz that proclamation adopted at the meeting # held by Board of Public Works , Mayor and Fuel Administrator , Mr. F.3 .Bates , at the office of Robbins (S. Feller : 'be shown 3.n" the minuets. Seconded by Mr. Taylor - so ordered. Upcn the advice of the City Attorney, the Board disallowed t .e cc_lai m;)auntlil, further, acti.on, for meals furnished guard George H. Sttayer, by Mrs . Nellie Shinn in the sum of 44. 67 . (Continued on next page) TI:onday January 21st . 1918. 1 03 1):i1OCIALIA.T1OIT Notice is hereby given that all the local regulations as to the use of electic current , and as to the hours of opening and closing business . houses , churches , clubs , lodges , saloons , cigar stores etc . , are annulled , the same to be effective I/ beginning Wednesday morning January 23d. 1918 . As to all es- tablishments making and dispensing food, whether at wholesale or retail , said regulations are annulled , effective on and after Monday morning January 21st , 1918. By. the terms of this order all food business may be carried on as prior to the first ordere issued last Wednesday, be- ginning Monday morning January 21st . 1918 , and to all other business beginning Wednesday morning January 23d. 1918 . This order is subject to all federal and state orders now in force or hereafter made . It is enjoined on al users or electricity and fuel that the coal situation is still acute , and all persons sholud continue to conserve fuel and elctric light and power as far as possible , • consistent with the proper conduct= of business, .. and wi-th •com- • fort to persons in their places of residence.
