Indiana, .met in regular session at the office of eseldBoaxd Monday December note 1917, at 9 o'clock A. M. All the members of said Board being present, Mesara, Baud;,. Marlatt and McMinn. The following proceedings were had, to-wit:- Mr. Bavie, made the following report, viz: - - Gentlemen:- The bills of Dr. Huffman and Mendenhall, submitted to us for investigation, covering small pox xaees in the City, beg leave to state that the families afflicated with the, maladr are in very moderate ciroumstanoce and would not be able to pay In view of-the undesirable nature of this work and to in- ::se :future immediate service in. such cases, ire . feel• that these bills should be paid without. demur. A. Bevis, Prest. , • On motion the report was concurred in and copy sent to the meeting of the common Council for their consideration. City Attorney Wm. A. Bond, reported that whereas the Richmond City Water Works, had up to thr present not paid the City for the installation of intermediate fire hydrants, as ordered by the Public Service Commission of Indiana, that the amount of same be deducted from any amounts which the City may be owing them in the future, and the .City Controller be so directed. • In order to clean up as nearly as possible, elms against the City to the end of this year, the Board ordered claims filed to date paid. if appropriations for same are available or made by the Council at their meeting. to be held this. P.M. • The Board after going over the bill, the .,same were allowed • and ordered paid .to the amount of$6442.09. . .
