. The Board of Public -7orks of the City of Fdchmond , Indiana ,
met in special session in the office of said Board Friday
December 21 st , 1917 , at 9 o r ei ock A. M. All .tze members of
said Board being present , Messrs , Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn:
The fo llowi ng proceedings were had , to - wit : -
• The Board meets with the Secretary of Board of Health and City
Physicians , Drs. , Smelser , Mendenhall and Huffman, in regard
to bills filed by City Physicians , in treating and visiting
Samll Pox -patients , at w3.00 per visit, after considerable
discussion the Board on, motion approved the bills as fi led in
the sum of 6C4 .00 , as fo 11 ows , Dr. Huffman, ?253. 50 and Dr.
Mendenhall ?350 . 50 .and ordered same raid .

met in regular session in the office of said Board , Monday
December 24th , 1917 , at 9 0' clock A. M. All the members of
• said Board being present , Messrs , Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit :-
The -City Civil Engineer, presented the following communication
which was on mot ion concurred in -as follows, to-wit : -

• Gentlemen:
For the -benefit of the incoming administration a
notation might be made in our .records calling attention to the
fact that on the following named improvements , before the expir-
ation of the year of guarantee , certain defects were apparent,
consequently the amount of the 5% reserve is still in the hands
I. of the city to make repairs when needed.
Cement sidewalks on both sides of N. 9th. Street , from
North "A" to "E" Street, Contractor, Henry Evans .
Cement alley from North "D" to "E" St , between North 21st
and 22nd Street, Contractor , Schneider Bros. ,
Gement alley between S. 7th & 8th St , "C" to "E" Street
(two contracts ) Contractor , T. J. Connell
• Cement sidewalks both sides of West 7th St , National Road.
to Pearl St. Contractor, F. E. Slick.
