Roll call was taken, all members were present.
Planner Waldock spoke in reference to Case No. 262-4490A.
Applicant - Andrew and Bertha Sari. Location - 2237 North
Naperville/Plainfield Road. Request - Annexation and
establishment of Residence A zoning per an Annexation Agreement.
The subject site in this case is located along the east side of
Naperville/Plainfield Road south of 135th Street. The site is
developed with two (2) single-family dwellings. Village
boundaries are not contiguous to the subject site at this time.
The applicants have granted an easement of 50' from road center
for utility extensions to the Lakelands site. The annexation
area is also the site of a recent subdivision plat creating one
(1) new single-family residential lot of 20,526 sq. ft. which is
planned to use sewer and water services of the Village. The
agreement provides for annexation at the time site becomes
contiguous to Village boundaries. Other key features of this
agreement include waiver of three (3) sewer tap-on fees and three
(3) water tap-on fees. No specific zoning is requested,
therefore Residence A will be established as this designation is
Plainfield's most restrictive classification. The agreement will
also allow connection to Village utilities prior to annexation of
the site is not contiguous when sewer and water lines become
operational. The annexation agreement is consistent with the
provisions of the grant of easement provided by the Sari's for
the Lakelands line extensions. After some discussion, the Board
directed the attorney to draft an ordinance for the first Board
Meeting in August ($/5/90).
J. Gaylord moved to adjourn the Public Hearing. Seconded by J.
Dement. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
