Monday November 26th ,1917 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
November 26th , 1917 , at 9 o' clock A. M. A11 the members of
said Board being present , Messrs, Bavis , Marla tt & McMinn.
The following :proceedings were had , to-wit : -
The Board received communication from Dougan, Jenkins & Co. ,
in matter of Explosion Insurance on the Electric Light Plant,
The Clerk was directed to notify said Co. , that in view of
the short time of this administration, the matter was placed
on file , to be taken up by the incoming administration.
The Board received bill for dlemurrage , from J. C. Loomis ,
agent of Louisvdlee Demurrage & Storage Bureau; against
City Light Plant for the months of April & May, 1917 ,
_The Board after taking the matter up with Sup't. , of Light
Plant , directed the Clerk to notify said agent , that the
matter would immedia.tely\takeri up with their agent in this
City for_ adjustment .
Bills of jchnei der Bros . , to the amount. of 4'129 .35 for sewer
in South "B" Street , between 6th & 7th Streets , ;iiso one
in the amount of 65 .80 , for man-holes constructed in North
16th Street , were on motion allowed.
There being no further business , ,and in view of the next
meeting day being Thanksgiving day, on motion the Board
adjourned to Monday December 3rd , 1917 .

The Board received bill of sale as of date of November 1st,
1917 . Signed by-Receivers of Central Union Telephone Co. ,
selling to City Light Plant 37 - 25ft . poles beginning at '
the City Limits of this City , on what is known as the Liberty
Pike , for the sum of $110.00. , (see bill of sale ) .
