1990 to order.
Roll call was taken, D. Lewin was absent.
L. Kelly spoke in reference to the flood last week (5/9/90 -
5/10/90) in the Village. We had three (3) high school boys who
volunteered their efforts to sand bag and do what ever they could
to be of help. They are - George Walsh, Brian Wilkenson and
Brian Kelly. From the comments we have received from the
employees and Trustee Gullicksen, these three (3) young men did a
fantastic job.

7:44 p.m.
Mayor Latta opened the meeting for public comments in reference
to the flooding.
Clarence Capps from Whispering Creek spoke thanking the Board
members who came to his home (to assist) at the time of the
flood. He stated there was alot of flooding on Buttercup Court
and Sunshine Circle. This damage was in basements. It was not
rain water, it was sewage water with human waste in it. He
questioned if the Board has had any thought what can be done to
avoid this from happening again? Mayor Latta stated the Board
would like Mr.Capps to question his neighbors so we know which
houses the sewer back flaw came into the basements. Then inform
Superintendent Countryman and he will contact our engineer John
• Djerf and we can look for various reasons why this happened. Mr.
Capps stated eh would contact his neighbors. Mayor Latta stated
we have a concern that some residents are pumping their sump
pumps into our sanitary sewer lines versus pumping it to their
back yards.
