Monday Novembe r 12th , 1917 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
November 12th , 1917 , at 9 o' clock A. IL. All the members of
said Boa rd being pre sent , Messrs -Bay is , Marlatt and McMinn.
The following --proceedings were had , to-wit : -
In the matter of petitio4 of the McConoha Company, for the
I construction of overhead passage way across the alley 1st south
of Main Street between South 4th & 5th Street, permission was
granted pending suitable contract to be prepared by the City
Attorney .
The City Civil Engineer, was directed to investigate and use
his own judgment in matter of necessity of constructing man-
hole s in North 16 th .Street.
On motion of Mr. Marlatt , the Sup' t . , of Parks , Chas . H. Ford
was directed to sell one of the young Elk at Glen Miller Park.
The Board then adjourned,

The Board of.:.Publ is Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in re gular session at the office of said Board Thursday
November 15th , 1917 , at 9 o ' c to ck A. M. All the members of
said Board being pre sent , Messrs , Bay is , Marlatt and McMinn.
The fo 11owing proceedings were had. , to-wit : -
The Board approved contract & bond. signed by Ed Brannon as
principal and John 'Lwissler as surety , in the matter of instal-
ling a "free Air Distributing Station" in front of No. CO
South 5th Street. ( see contract & bond )
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay the following
reserves due to-wit : - Improvement Resolution No . 481-1915;
F. E. Slick, contractor , 5;o reserve due- - 18 .58
Improvement Resolution No. 524-1916 , Schneider Bros , contractors
5sic reserve due 3130 .31
On account of critical situation of securing coal for light plant
the Sup' t . , was instructed to immedi aterly take up the coal mat-
te- the local fuel dictator.
