Notice of virtual Public Hearing
Barnstable County Proposed Ordinance No. 22-23
On August 17, 2022 at 4:00 P.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold a
virtual public hearing on Proposed Ordinance 22-23, to transfer supplemental appropriations
forfiscal year 2023 in the amount of $2,493,028 from the unreserved fund balance into a special
reserve fund for the Cape Cod Commission Regional Freshwater Initiative Program. The virtual
public hearingwill be held via Microsoft Teams and will be open to anyone wishingto testify or
make public comment on the proposed ordinance. The full text of the proposed ordinance has
been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. It is also
available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public
hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for August 17, 2022

Proposed Ordinance 22-23
To transfer to a special revenue fund by making supplemental appropriations fiscal year two
thousand twenty-three
The Cape Cod regional government, known as Barnstable county, hereby ordains;
Section 1.
The sum set forth in section one, is hereby appropriated as a supplemental appropriation for
Barnstable County for the fiscal year ending June thirtieth, two thousand and twenty-three.
Said funds shall be transferred to a special revenue fund and expended acting by and through
the Cape Cod Commission to fund the Regional Freshwater Initiative Program and shall be
derived from Unreserved Fund Balance for two thousand and twenty-three .
