The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
September 13th, 1917, at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members
of said Board being present , Messrs, Bavis, Marlatt & McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit : -
Upon the recommendation of the Board of Public Health and
Charities , the Board of-Public Works, appointed Lynn A.
Scott , as City. Meat Inspector, ' for the [City of Richmond,
from September 16th , 1917 , for the unexpired term of
Charles Pitman, whose resignation as said inspector has
been accepted by the Board of Health, to take effect at the
close of business September 15th, 1917 ..
A petition for an electric arc light , signed by iC.L.King,
and 18 others , praying for said light to be placed at North
12th & "G" Streets , *as received, and Sup' t . , of Light
Plant instructed to place light at this point :
The Board then adjourne
