. Monday September 10th, 1917 .
The Board of Public works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board. Monday
:September 10th, 1917, at 9 o' clock 41> M. All the members of
said Board being present , Messrs , Bavis , Marlatt arid McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit : --
The Board approved a final assessment roll , in the matter of
the construction of sewer under Improvement -i2e so luti on No . 543-
1917, on north side of Main Street bridge , from present out let
to the river.
The Clerk read letter from Carl G. Fisher, enclosing an aprroved
blue print showing two types of aviation, signalling equipment ,
with the information that these units have been selected by
Mr. Fisher, as chairman of the Map Making Committee, together
with an agreement to be signed by the Board of Public ;corks
and Mayor, Wheieas the Common Council, of this City had made an
appropriation in the sum of 5C0 .0O3 for the purchase and in-
stallation of lights , the Board. and Mayor select Type No. 651 ,
of the two types submitted, cost 250 .00, not including the
installation, and ordered the same; through the Sup ' t . , of
City Light Plant , and directed that said lights 'be installed
on top' of City Building.
