The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
August 30 th , 1917 , at 9 clock A. M. The following members

Mr. Mar lat t. Two members being pre sent , the fo 11 owl ng proceed-
ings were had , to-wit : -
The Board on motion recommend that appropriation of 4500 .00
• for purchase Sc installing of search lights as markers or guides
for aviators in making cross country flights at night , be re-
quested of the Common Council.
E. E. Miller, Chief of fire department , was directed to pro cure
rope and place the same on flag staff on ci ty building .
On account of Monday '6 ept embe r 3rd , being Lab or Day; oar moti on
the Board adj ourned to meet Thurday Sept embe r '.Qth , 1917 .
