The Board of Public Works of the. City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
August 27 th, 1917 , at 9 o' c lock A. M. The foil owl ng membe rs
of said. Board being pres-ent , Messrs Bavis and Marlatt , •
Absent , Mr. Mali-mi. Two members being present , the following
proceedings. were had , to-wit : -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of- persons
primarily assessed on account of Improvement Resolution
' No. 527 -1917 , for the improvement of North "F" Street , from
North 10th to 15th Street , by paying. the roadway with Brick •
-
and construction of necessary- curb &d gutter where not already
provided with a standard .pavement & curb in good. condition.
After hearing all persons. interested who appeared, (No one
appearing) , the Board approves a final assessment roll , con-
firming, in all things the original assessment roll as here- .
to fore approved, and said assessment roll is further ordered
transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance .
The Clerk notified the Board , that the appraisers appointed
by the Judge of Wayne Circuit Court , to appraise ground on
Newmans Hill (Lot 7 , J. Newman s ,Add ) . , had rendered their
appraisement of. said - ground, on August 24th , 1917 , and fixed
the value` oft 'same at 41775.00. The Clerk was directed to
• notify the Commercial Club of said appraisement , and same
referred to the Common Council.
