Thursday August 23rd , 1917 .
The Board of Publ is Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
Augu st 23rd , 1917 , at 9 o cl ock, A. M. All the members of
said Board being present , Messrs , Bay is , Mar rat t and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit :®
The Clerk reported the passage of an ordinance by the Common
Council , re tic'esting the Judge of Wayne Circuit Court , to
appoint three appraisers to appraise the property belonging
to the City located on what is known as Newmans Hill, Lot 7 ,
Also that the said Judge, had appointed Willard B. Dye, H. E.
Williams and Frank M. Price , arprai sera to appraise and fix
the value of sa id real estate .
The Board directed the City Engineer, to order the necessary
lumber and workmen, and have board walk placed. on north side
of national Road between the 2 temporary bridges.
The Board then adjourned,
