At 7:20 p.m. President Peterson opened the Public Hearing.
Roll call was taken, all members were present.
Planner Waldock spoke in reference to Case No. 373-111892.AA.
At?plir~ant - Material Service Corporation. Location- Along the
north side of Route 126, south of 135th Street, along 224th Street
(Essington Road). Recruest - Annexation and Establishment of 5
acres of B-4, Highway Business zoning and 38.233 acres of
Residential A-4, Multi Family zoning on a 43.233 acre parcel.
The applicant has requested this case to be continued to Public
Hearings on June 21, 1993. The President of the Hickory Hills Rod
and Gun Club, made a statement that they do not allow hand guns or
high powered rifles on their property, shot guns and air guns only.
L. Ke11y moved to table the Annexation and Establishment of 5 acres
of B-4, Highway Business zoning and 38.233 acres of Residential A-
4, Multi Family zoning on a 43.233 acre parcel to June 21, 1993.
Seconded by M. Lambert. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Planner Waldock spoke in reference to Case No. 386-041593,AA.
A nt - Jeffrey Reach. Locati4~ - Lot 40 in Unit 3 of
Plainfield Acres Subdivision: 303 Renwick Road (the northwest
corner of Renwick Road and Frederick Avenue). Reauest -~ Annexation
Agreement and Zoning Variance to annex a 20, 000 sq. ft. residential
lot and subdivide the lot into two 10,000 sq. ft. parcels.
Subject site is contiguous to the Village limits on the north and
on the south. The annexation of the property would result in the
acceptance by the Village of the balance (south 120 feet) Frederick
• Avenue. The Annexation Agreement relates to the subdivision of the
property and provisions for variations. Public Hearings have been

held by the Zoning Board of Appeals on the matter of the variations
from the Zoning Ordinance. The variance as proposed allows for
subdivision of the subject parcel into the 10,000 sq. ft. lots
which are similar to and consistent with those lots adjoining the
subject site in Plainfield Acres Subdivision. The variance if
granted would not impose negative impacts on adjoining owners. The
Planning Commission recommends approval of the Annexation Agreement
and Annexation of the Jeffrey Reach property at 303 Renwick Road.
The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends approval of variations for
lot area to provide two 10,000 sq. ft. Single Family residential
lots consistent with surrounding parcels. The Annexation Agreement
report does not include any waiver of tap-on-fees, line charges, or
application fees. Total costs per house in this case shall be
$5,185.79 with line charges to increase over time. It should be
made clear that the agreement does not require connection to
Village utilities (except for the newly established lot and any new
dwellings which may be built). No comments were made by the
Village Board of Trustees. Staff will proceed with the necessary
Ordinances and bring forward at the meeting of June 21, 1993.
J. Dement moved to adjourn the Public Hearing and reconvene to the
Regular Meeting. Seconded by J. Ray. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no.
Motion carried.
