All the members of said Board ie. ing present, Lesers, Bavie, 1.arlatt and l.cminn. The folio�ing proceedings were had, to -wit: - Permission was granted John A. Shorten, to construct a drive►a7 across sidewald at 132 South 21st Street, under private cort:ac;, The Board received petition for Ornamental Lighting System, oa Borth 9th Street from Lain to North "A" Street, signed by the Palladium Printing Co., et -al, Bald petitioners agreeing to eail installation and to pay total cost of same, the City to maintak and furnish the current for said system, as per letter attaches to said petiticn, 11r. McMinn then moved the petition be accgtet and Engineer be directed to prepare plans & specdficaticne fcr same and Clerk advertise for bide for same, seconded by Uri yen• latt, motion unanimously -prevailed. A petition was presented signed by Benjamin Johnson at al, for constructing a cement roadway in the alley between Borth ilthl 12th Street, from North "B" to "D" Street, on motion referre' City Engineer, for plans etc., for next year. The Board directed the Finance Department to pay the ammo:.� retained on following improvements to the contractors named, wit: - "Daniel G.
