The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in regular session at the office of Board of Public Works
Monday August 13 th , 1917 , at 9 o' clock A. M. The fo 11 owing
members being present., Messrs., Marlatt and McMinn, absent ;
Mr . Bavis . Two members being present , the following proceed-
ings were had , to-wit : - - -

Thursday August 16th , 1917 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
August 16 th , 1917 , at 9 o' clock A. M. The following members
of said Board being present , Messrs , Bavis and Marlatt , absent
Mr. McMinn. Two members being present , the following proceed-
ings were had , to-wit : -
The Board meets to hear remonstrances , if any, of persons pri -
marily assessed on account of the vacation of 1st alley south
of South "A" Street, from South 4th Street east , to the alley
running north & south be twe en South 4th & 5th Street , under
Declaratory Resolution No. 117-1917 . No one remonstrating the
Board approved a final assessment roll of benefits & damages
confirming- in all things the original assessment roll hereto-
fore approved, and thereupon declare the said portion of said
alley above designated , vacated, and now direct that a copy
of said assessment roll be forthwith transmitted to the Depart-
ment of Finance.
The Board on motion of Mr. Marlatt , decide that the Common Coun-
cil be asked to appropriate .2300.00 from the general funds of
M. B. Z. & P. P. for the purpose of purchasing a motor driven
truck for said light plant.
