The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
Augu st 9th ,. 1917 , at 9 0 cl ock A. FM. The fo llowing membe rs
of said Board being pre sent , Messrs , Marlatt and McMinn,
Absent , Mr. Bavis . Two members 'being present , the following
proceedings were had , to-wit : -
The Board approved a primary assessment roll in the matter
of constructing sanitary sewer in the alley between Ross &
Boyer Street , from Vine to John Street , under Improvement
Resolution No. 535-1917 .
The City Civil Engineer, was directed to order 10 bls . , of
Tarvia X.
Upon the recommendation of the City Civil Engineer, the
Finance Department was directed to pay the 5% reserves re-
tai ned under improvement resolutions named to the following
contra dtors as follows, to -wit : -
Resolution No. 486-1916 , Harding & Slattery & Buchannan ,
• amount 4269.56 .
Schneider Bros . , Resolutions"& amounts as follows : 488-1916

A communication presented to the Common Council at last ses-
sion submitted by A. Weishaupt , requesting that South "E"
Street from 5th to 16th Street be repaired or made safe , was
read .
The Board then adjourned
