The Board. of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular- session at the office of said Board Thursday
June. 28.th , 1917 ; at 9 o'clock A. M. All the members of said.
Board being present , Messrs , Bavis, Marlatt and McMinn.
The following_pro e.eedings were had., to-wit : •

The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract
under Improvement Resolution No. 536-1917 . The Board on motion
accepted the same and ordered assessment roll prepared.
Whereas , the Board had advertised for bids to construct dispos-
al plant south of Main & east of- 23rd Street, •under Improvement
Resolution No. 542-1917 , _ on two different occassions and no
bids being received on either occassion, The Board instruct the
City Civil Engineer, to proceed to have the disposal plant con-
structed under the plans etc . , under above resolution, by pri-
vate contract or days labor.
The Board instruct the Engineer, tompurchase paint necessary to
apply a second coat on North 10th St, bridge . •
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons pri-
marily assessed on account of construction of sewer in alley be-
tween North 12th & 13th Street , from North "J" & 12th Sts, to
let alley north of P. C. C. & St 1. Ry. tracks , under Improve-
ment Resolution No. 521-1916 . No one appearing or remonstrating,
the Board approves a final assessment roll , confirming in all
things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and
Now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department
of Finance . •
The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons pri-
marily assessed on account of construction of cement 'curb & gut-
ter on both sides of South 20th Street , from Main to South "A"
Street, under Improvement Resolution No.532-1917. After hearing
all persons interested who appeared, the Board approved a final
assessment roll, confirming the original assessment roll as here-
tofore approved, and now directed the same be transmitted forth-
with to the Department of Finance .
• • The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons pri-
marily assessed on account of construction of cement sidewalk
on north side of North "I)" Street , from North 8th Street to Pt-
Wayne Avenue , under Improvement Resolution No. 538-1917 . After
hearing all persons interested who appeared, the Board approved
a final assessment roll, confirming the original assessment roll
as heretofore approved, and now directed the same be transmitted
fo rthwi th to the Department of Finance .
