Monday June 18th,1917.
The Board. of PublicWorks of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
net in regular session at the office of said Beard Monday
June 18th, 1917, at 9 o' clock A. lVi.` All the. members of said
Board being present , Messrs., Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn.
- The following proceedings were had,: to-wit : -
The Board approved the contract & bond of I. E. Smith , con-
tractor under Improvement Resolution No. 543-1917 . I/
The Board directed the Engineer to prepare plans etc . , for
the vacation of the 1st alley south of South "A" Street ,
from South 4th to 5th Street .
The Board received Deed. to Lot No. 41 , 0. Kinsey, Addition,
signed by Chas. A. '& E. ' M. Peterson.
The Board directed the City Controller, to present bill to
the Reeveston Realty Company, for fire hydrants in Reeveston,
Addition as per agreement of said company.
- The Board directed the City Civil Engineer, to employ D. G.
Burkhardt or George Schneider , to repair various cement work
in need o`f repair.
The Clerk was directed to notify The Washington Theatre Co. ,
on account of sentiment of property owners , rermission to
construct a bill board on City property just off the Doran
bridge would not be granted.
The Beard then adjourned,
