The Board of _Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session in the - offi-co of said Board Monday •
June llth 1.917 at 9 01 clock A. M. All the' members of said
Board being present, Messrs , Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to--wit : -
The Board approved primary assessment rolls on the following
impr ovements, to-wit : - Improvement Re soluti do No. 521-1916,
for 'the construction of sewer in the alley between North 12th
& 13th Street,. from North 12th & "J" Street , to 1st alley
north of P. C. C. & St L. Railroad.; Improvement Resolution
No. 532-1917 , for the construction of cement curb & gutters
on both sides of South- 20th Street, from Main to South "A"
- Street; Improvement Resolution No. 38-1917 , for the 'construct-
Lon of cement sidewalk on north side of North "D" Street,
from North 8th Street to Ft-Wayne Avenue .

A petition was presented , for the construction of cement
sidewalks , curb & gutters on both sides of South "H" Street
from South 5th to 8th Street, which was referred. to City
Civ it Engineer for plans , etc. ,
The City Civil Engineer , was directed to offer owner Chas.
Peterson, 25.00 for lot west of river across from City Light •
Plant for •Darn purposes . •
The Board received bids for the construction of sewer in the
open drain le ad ing from near the east end of Main Street
Bridge to river under Improvement Resolution No. 543--1917 , •
as follows to -wit:
" John r. Hipskind , bid ;
Sewer complete - --- ---$5.85 per linear foot ,
• The bid. being .above the estimate of City Civil Engineer
the contract was not awarded.
No bid received for constructi. on of Disposal, Plant under
Improvement Resolution No. 542-1917 .
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay to Mather B.
Kelsey , $161 . 62, , the amount of reserve due under gontract
of T. J. Connell, for improvement of South 22nd Street ,
Improvement Resolution No. 450-1915 , for repairs made by
said M. B. Kelsey. •
The Board then ad journed,
