City of Richmond , Indiana,
Monday June 4th , 1917.
The Board of Public Works'. of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
June 4th , 1917 , at 9 0 clock A. M. All the membe rs of said
Board being present , Messrs., Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn.
The following pro ce edings, were had , to-wit ; -
The- Board approved the contract & bond of John F. Hips kind ,
Contractor ; under Improvement Resolution No. 541-1917 .
The Board approved contract & bond of Earl Spangler , in mat-
ter of installing Gasoline Dispenser , formerly owned by
S. Bricker , known as "The_ Central Garage ", No. 1113 - 1115
Main Street. •
A petition was presented to construct cement roadway in the
alley between North 13th .& 14th Street from North- "G" to "H"
Street , same was taken under advi sment
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract
under Improvement Resolution ,No. 521-1916, for the construct -
ion of sewer in the alley between North 12th & 13th Street,
from first alley north of P. C. C. & St L. Railway, to• North
"J" and 12th Streets. On motion the same was accepted, and
assessment roll ordered prepared.
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract
under Improvement Resolution No. 538-191.7 , for the construct-
ion. of cement sidewalk on north side of North "D" Street,.
from North 8th Street to Ft-Wayne Ave. , the same was accepted
and .assessment. roll ordered prepared.

The Clerk was directeet to notify_ property- .owners abut ting the
alley between South 9th & 10th Street- from South "F" to "G"
Street , to remove fences and barns back to property line .-
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids on City Adver-
tiding for the year ending June 30th , 1918.
The Board then adjourned,
