Saturday May 26th , 1917 .
The Board' of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana ,
met in special session at the office , of said Board Saturday
rilay 26th , 1917 , at 10 o' clock A. M. All the members of said
Board being present, Messrs , Bari.', Marlatt and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit:-
Whereas , all work on the installing of ornamental post and
- lighting system on Main Street , from 3rd to 12th Street :
8th Street from South "A" to North "A" Street , north side
of North "A" Street , from 8th to 9th Street and North 7th
Street , from Main to North "A" Street , under Improvement
Resolution No. 511-1916, having been completed and proper
repairs to streets &tc. , having been done . The Board formally
accepted as complete the work of said installation, by the
Kokomo Electric Construction Co. , under said resolution,
subsequent to favorable report from the Sup' t . , of Cite
tight plant ; On moti on of Mr. McMinn, the Board directed
the Finance Department to pay said construction company,
monies collected on same , and directed the Clerk to issue
a contractors certificate- to the amount of $1002.97 , the
balance reported still uncollected ; It is farther ordered
that the sum of 5'100.00, be retained in reserve for a peri od
of thirty ( 30 ) days .
