Monday May 21 st , 1917 .
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday
May 21 st , 1917 , at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said
Board being pre sent , Messrs, Bavis , • Marla tt and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit
The Board granted the Richmond Light , Heat &; Power Company the ri_gh
to lay their gas main across City property on east side of
West 1st Street , between the National Road and West -Main
Street. •
The Board directed the Richmond City Water Works , to place a
Fire Hydrant in North 13th Street at north si de of railroad
tracks , to be placed 'by City Engineer and Fire Chief . •
A letter was presented. from Mary E Fetta , in reference to
property condemned & arpropriated by the City in the open-
ing of South "G" Street from South 5th Street west , which
was referred to City Attorney.
Claims to the amount of $8666.09 were allowed and ordered paid.
