'Friday May 18th , 1917.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in called session at the office of, said Board Friday
May 18th , 1917 , at 9 o' clock A. M. All the members of said
Board being present , Messrs , Bavis , Mar latt and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit : -
On ac count of no meeting of Board held on regular meeting
day Thursday May, 17th , 1917 , the Board meets to take up-
any business which may come before them ;
The Board approves peti ti on and agreement entered into by The
'Miller-Kemper Company, and the Richmond Lumber Company, each
of the aforesaid companies agreeing to pay 0100.00, or a total
of $200.00 toeards the cost of constructing a sewer in North.-
west 2nd Street, from alley north of Chestnut Street to Chest -
n_ut Street , with proper linlets etc. , street to be remodeled
at the intersection of Chestnut & North-west 2nd Street , so as
to eliminate the cross gutters and he a flush intersects on
at this point.
A petition was presented , for repairing Northwest 2nd Street
from Richmond. Ave , to Center Street , same was taken under
advi sement
A petition was presented , for improving Ridge Street, by pav-
ing_ with either Asphalt -Concre to-Brick or Crepsoted Wood Block
from State to School Street, same was taken under advi sement
for inve sti gati on.
