The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond Indi ana•
met in regular- session at the office of said Board Monday
May 7th , 1917 , at 9 0' cl ock A. M. All `the members of, said
Board being present, Messrs , Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn.
The following probeedings were had , to-wit : -
A petition was presented for an electric light at corner of
South 23rd &;- "E" Streets , and. taken under advi sement.
The Board directed the Finance Department , to pay the Richmond.
Electric Company, contractors under Improvement Resolution No.
48 2-1915 , Ornamental lighting system on North 9th Street , from
Main to North "A" Street,the sum of $14. 20, reserve due on
said improvement.
The Board approved the various ci ty payrolls to May 5th , 1917 ,
Claims to the amount of :} 14, 5711 .27 , were allowed and ordered
paid. .
The Clerk was directed to prepare bills for ordinances to be
presented to the Common Council, for appropriating 15 ,000.00
for coal for light plant ; also one for $800 .00 , to purchase
and install new motor in No. 2 Hose & Chemical wagon bel onging
to City Fire Department .
