The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond , Indi ana, met
in regular session at the office of said Board Monday cApri1 9th ,
1917 , at 9 0,' el o ck A. M. All the members of .sa id Board b ei ng
present, 'Messrs , Bav is , Mar l at t and McMinn. The following pro-
ceedings were had, to -wit :T-
he Boa rd.ent er ed into agreement as of date of April" 6th , 1917,
by and between the P. C. C. 8c St. L. Ry. , Co. , granting the Com-
pany the ri ght to re-align its two main tracks which now cross
North 15th & North 16th Streets and to lay' two additional main
• tracks across said streets in accordance with blue print plat
attached to said\ agreement and made a part thereof, (See Agreet. )
Pursuant to• notice , Alfred Underhill, appeared before the Board
. regarding conditions existing at sewer in alley back of his
property in the alley between North 15th & 16th Streets, and ,
North "D" & "E" Streets, and directed to immedi ately remedy said
conditions ,. which he promised to do.
Permissi on was given Fred C. Bai ley to tap sewer between South 7th
and 8th Streets , for benefit of first lot south of South "L" St. ,
on payment of $25 .00 and the executi on of agreement. to stand as-
ses smen t when sewer is made for that locality.
The Clerk' was directed to notify H. V. Mciel land, to repair the
• Rio od Block Street , in front of his place at North 6th Street and
• Railroad ; caused by excavation in making sewer connections.
The Board re ce lye d letter from C.A.Kleinknecht , Sup' t. , of Light
Plant , in re fe ren ce t o app roxima to amount o f money 'the plant wi 11
have Sept. 1st , 1917 , arid recommendation that , only the Screen
house and revolving screen be constructed this year , the Board
take same under advisement until bids are received, before any
action is taken . "
