BENNETT - CHIEF At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Latta opened the meeting. J. Dement moved to adopt Resolution No. 939 Supplemental Resolution For Maintenance Of Streets And Highways By Municipality Under Illinois Highway Code. Seconded by L. Kelly. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Dunteman $61,895.50; P was attached) Illinois (Bid Pusinelli reported we had a Bid Opening on June 2, a.m. for the MFT - 1989 Street Maintenance Program: Company, Addison, Illinois (Bid Bond was attached) .T. Ferro Construction, Joliet, Illinois (Bid Bond $70,557.18; and Crown-Trygg Corporation, Joliet, Bond was attached) $54,160.04. J. Dement moved to award bid to R.W. Dunteman Company of Addison, Illinois for MFT Street Maintenance Project #98351 at a low bid of $51,895.50. Seconded by D. Lewin. Vote by roll call. Lewin, yes; Kelly, yes; Gaylord, yes; Dement, yes; Sharp, yes. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. Administrator Pusinelli reported we had a Bid Opening on June 2, 1989 at 11:30 a.m. for the Will County Block Grant - Vista Lane Improvements: P.T. Ferro Construction, Joliet, Illinois (Bid Bond was attached) $52,935.25; and Crown-Trygg Corporation, Joliet, Illinois (Bid Bond was attached) $43,504.47. This will be rebuilding the roads, storm sewer and right-of-way. The Village will only pay for the engineering, the balance will be paid from the Will County Block Grant. J. Dement moved to award the bid to Crown-Trygg Corporation in the amount of $43,504.47 for Vista Lane Improvements, Project #88359. Seconded by D. Lewin. Vote by roll call. PLAINFIELD VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES • JUNE 12, 1989 PAGE TWO Planner Waldock reported on Case No. 217-41489AZ. Applicant - James K. Chobar, Sr. Trust. Request - annexation and establishment of I-1 Light Industry zoning. Location - 1720 Van Dyke Road. The Chobar Trust has requested annexation of a triangular parcel located along the east side of Van Dyke Road north of 143rd Street. The subject site is developed with a large storage building (for a towing business), a house and detached garage. A towing business is the current use of the property with a properties residence. The Annexation Agreement recognizes existing land uses and provides for their continuance. Industrial zoning is proposed which is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and surrounding uses. The Plan Commission recommends approval of the annexation and establishment of I-1 zoning for the Chobar Trust property on Van Dyke Road. L. Kelly moved to adopt Ordinance No. 1262 An Ordinance Authorizing The Execution Of A Certain Annexation Agreement Between The Village Of Plainfield, Illinois And James K. Chobar Sr. Trust. Seconded by D. Lewin. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. L. Kelly moved to adopt Ordinance No. 1263 An Ordinance Annexing Property Owned By James K. Chobar Sr. Trust (1720 Van Dyke Road). Seconded by J. Dement. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. L. Kelly moved to adopt Ordinance No. 1264 An Ordinance To Zone (I-1) Property Owned By James K. Chobar Sr. Trust (1720 Van Dyke Road). Seconded by D. Lewin. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. L. Kelly moved to authorize the Village President to execute and the Village Clerk to attest to the final plat of subdivision for James K. Chobar Sr. Trust (1720 Van Dyke Road). Seconded by D. Lewin. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried. L. Kelly moved. to reschedule the Village Board meeting of July 3rd to July 10, 1989 at 7:00 p.m. Seconded by J. Gaylord. Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no.
