Thursday February 15th ,1917.
The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the offica of said Board Thursday
February 15t'i, 1917 , at 9 o' clock A.. M. All the members of
said Board being pre sent , Messrs , Bavis , Mar la.t t and McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to wit:The Clerk was directed to write the Kokomo Electric Construct-
ion Company, acknowledging the receipt of their letter, and in-
form them as soon as certain things are attended to by them,
the Board will proceed with assessment roll etc . ,
In the ratter of the improvement of South 4th Street & it-Wayne
Avenue , from South "A" to, North "D" Street , which was modi fied
on Monday February 12th , 1917 , It having been reported by the
City Civil Engineer & City Attorney, that a majority of the resi-
dent property owners had remonstrated against the improvement as
a whole , under said. Improvement Resolution No. 526-1917 . The
Board re-open the matter and in order to correct the record , on
motion of Charles Marlatt, rescind Improvemait Resolution No.
526-1917. .
City Attorney Vim. A. Bond , was directed to have abstract prepared
- on East Part of Lot No. 41 , West Richmond , as laid. out by Oliver
Kinsey , in order to- find the owners so the City • can proceed with
condemnation of said ground , for the construction of a Dam for
City Light Plant .
The Board received a petition for an electric light at South 12th
and "H" Street, referred to Sup' t of Light Plant .
The Board approved contract & bond, in matter of permissiofl grant-
ed to Horace J. Grim, for installing a "Weldex Gasoline Dispen-
ser" in _front of Number 15 North 7th Street.
The Board then adjourned,
