Monday February 5th , 1917 .
• The Board of Public Works of the City of ichmond, Indiana,
met- in regular se s si on at- the office of said Board Monday
February 5th, 1917 , at 9 otelock 'A. M. 'The following members
of said Board beingipre sent ,, Messrs , Marlatt and McMinn,
Absent Mr. Bavis, two members being present , •the following
proceedings were had , to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected 'by Improvement Resolution No. 528-1917 , for the im-
provement of South & North 3rd Street , by constructing cement
curb & gutter where not already provided, and paving the roadway
with one of the modern kinds of ci ty pavements , to-wit ; Asphalt-

Brick - Concrete or Creosoted Wood Block, from South "A" Street
to the 1st alley south of North "D" Street . After hearing all
persons interested who appeared, the Board postponed hearing on
said resolution until Monday February 12 th , 1917.
The Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose property
is affected by Improvement Resolution No. 529 -1917, providing for
the construction of sanitary sewer in the alley between South
5th & 6th Street , from South "Ca' to "D" Street , no one appearing
or remonstrating against said improvement , the Board decides that
the benefits to property liable to be assessed for said improve-
ment are equal to the cost of same as reported by the City Civil
Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on said re soluti on
the same being confirmed without modification.
The Board received bids for the construction of -sebtwer 'from the
present outlet near the end of Carpenter' s Mill -Race to a point
below the Intake of the Municipal Electric Lighting 8c Power
• Plant, under Improvement Resolution 1No. 533-1917, as follows
to-wit : -

14 gauge 24" Corrugated Culvert Pipe "Armco " on ground , 2.25 ft .

Manhole complete - - 40 .00
The Board takes same under advisement , in the absence of the
Sup' t. , of Light Plant.
The Board approved the various payrolls to February 1st , 1917 .
Claims to the amount of $3286.95 were allowed & ordered paid.
The Board then adjourned,
