The following proceedings were had , to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear all persons int ere sted or whose ,
property is affected by • the improvement of South 4th St ,
and Ft--Wayne Ave . , from South "A" to North "B" Street , by
pavi ng the roadway with Asphalt -- Concrete - Brick or Creo-
- soted tVocd Block and constructing necessary curb & gutter +r,e.6.-,
where not already provided with a standard pavement and '
curb 8., gut to r i n good condi ti on, as provided for under
Improvement Resoluti on No. 526 -1917 . After heari ng all per-
sons interested who appeared , the Board deci des that the
benefits to property liable to be assessed for •said im-
provemerit are equal to thefillIMMITIbliirl co st of same as re-
ported by the City Civil Engineer, less the portion which
the City will pay , the City agrees to pay the cost of the
street and alley interesecti ons , and 10% of the cost of •
cu rb w gut to r and 3 5 c' on ea ch square yar d of ro ad way out-
side of street & alley intersections
The -Board meets to hear all persons interested or whose
property is affected by the improvement of North "F" Street
from North 10th to 15th Street , by paving the roadway- wi th
Asphalt - Brick - Concrete or Creosoted 'r'Jood Block atd
co nst rue ti rig the necessary curb & gutter where not already
provided wi th a standard pavement and curb & gutter in -•
good condi goon, as provided . for by Improvement resolution
No. 527 -1917. After hearing all persons interested who ap-
peared. , the Board deci des that the bene-fi is to pro perty '
liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to ie-
the cost of same as reported by the City Civi 1 Engi neer ,,,

Chief of Fire Department , reported he had received a` check
in the sum of w25.00 from the German Bapti st Fire Insurance - ,
Co. , for the department going outside the city limits , the .I
Board directed the same be turned into the City Treasury
for the purpose of purchasing rubber coats for the depar t- �> k�"`"
ment .
