Monday January 29th , 1917 .
The Board of Public ;!orks of the City of Richmond , Indiana,
met in regular sessi on at the office of said Board Monday
January 29 th, 1917 , at 9 `o' clock A. M. All the members of
• said Board being present , Messrs , Bavis , Marlatt and McMinn.
The following proceedings ere had , to pit ;
The Board received letter from the Kokomo E lectri c Construct ion
Company., asking when it would 'be most fb.vorab le to take up the
settlement of their contract for ornamental lighti ng system
- under Improv-ement Resolution No. 511-•191E. The Clerk was direct
ed to notify said company, as soon as the Sup' t of City Light
Plant had gone thoroughly over the work and examined the same
as to its conforming to the speci fi cations etc . , the Board would
- noti.f7 them and gi ve them- a conference on same .
A petition was pre sented, for installi ng an electric light at
;Vest let & Chestnut Street , light ordered placed .
The Board directed the Sup' t. , of light plant , to place electric
arc lights at Vet 1st & Pearl Streets;I South 18th 8.. „a" Street
- where "A" Street comes into 18th St , from east ; South llth & "G"
Street ; North 17th & liai1-road ; Pearl & Best 7th Street ; Center
Street between 2nd & 5th Street ; Chestnut & Westrlst Street ;
Southwest 2nd & "s" Street at J. Moore School House ; West 4th
and Lincoln Street
The Board then adjourned,
