The Board of Public Works of the Ci ty of iii chmond , Indiana ,
met in re miler se s si on at the i office of said Board Thursday
January 25th , 1917 , at 9 o' cl ock A. M. All - the members of
said Board being - pre sent, Messrs , Bavis , .Marlatt & McMinn.
The following proceedings were had , to-wit : -

In the matter of- request of Board of Trustees of Larlham
College , that the City should lay sewer ni pe in the open
di tch around the S ewage LcIspcsal Plant , for the purpose
of facilitating the drainage of their ground . The Clerk
was directed to notify said Trustees , that while wi sh ing
to do .everything reasonable to assist in maintaining proper
conditions on the College ground , the Board feel that- it 1: ; ..
would be no more than ri ght for the College to share the .
expense of the work menti oned , inasmuch as the ci ty assumed .
a share of the expense in carrying the ti le drains through
the College ground , down to this open di tch , and the work
now desired is an extension of the same system. .

The Ci ty Civil Engineer , presented esti anted. cost of con--
strue;ting improvements under the following numbered reso--
luti ons to--wi t : - 526 -S .4th St , & Ft-Wayne Ave ,- from South • .
"A" to North "D" St. 527 -N. "F" St , N. 10th to 15th St .
528 -A . & S. 3rd St , from South "4" to alley south of North
"D" Street , 530 - South ''A" St , from 2nd to 5th Street , rav-
ir!g roadway wi th either Bri ck--Concrete -Asphalt or Creosot-
ed Wood Block, and constructing necessary curb & gutter . .
529 -Sewer in alley between South 5th & 6th St , from 4'C" to -
"D" St- ; 531- North "D" St , • from 9th .to 16th St , C. & G. • 1
532 -South 20th St , Main to South •"A" Street , C : & G.
