Continuation of Regular Meeting of February 20, 1989

MEMBERS FRESENT: Mayor Latta, D. Lewin, J. Dement, L. Kelly.
ALSO PRESENT: M. Pusinelli, Village Administrator
D. Ruttle, Attorney
P.J. Waldock, Village Planner
C. Jania, Deputy Clerk
Mayor Latta called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was
taken. D. Gullicksen, K. Callanan, and J. Bootz were absent.
J. Dement moved to approve the amended agenda. Seconded by L. Kelly.
Voice vote. 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
There was a short discussion regarding the Resolution far the
June S. Foster Farm zoning request.
L. Kelly moved to adopt Resolution No. 930 setting forth our
objections to the zoning request of the June S. Foster Farm property.
Seconded by J. Dement. Vote by roll call.
Lewin, yes; Kelly, yes; Dement, yes; Latta, no. 3 yes, 1 no.
Motion carried.
L. Ke11y moved to adjourn to Executive Session to reconvene.
Seconded by D. Lewin. Voice vote. 4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.

Mayor Latta reconvened the meeting.
L. Kelly moved to authorize the Village to retain the services of
the law firm of DeFrees and Fisk for the purpose of representing the
Village in filing a petition before the I.E.P.A. for the purpose of
rescinding their decision in expanding the facility plan area of
Joliet in accordance with their January 12, 1989 decision.
Seconded by D. Lewin. Vote by roll call.
Lewin, yes; Kelly, yes; Dement, yes; Latta, yes. 4 yes, 0 no.
Motion carried.
L. Kelly asked staff to forward immediately to NIPC and the E.P.A.
the Facility Plan.
J. Dement moved to adjourn. Seconded by L. Ke11y. Voice vote.
4 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
