The Board of Public Works of the City of nichmond, Indiana
met in regular session at the office of said Board Thursday
October 7th, i915, at 9 o'clock A. M. all the members of said
Board being present, Masers, Bavis, Marlatt and Ideblinn.
The following proceedings were had, to -wit: -
The Board approved the contract & bond of James S. Logan, cc,,.
tractor for the scraping and painting Doran Bridge,
pursuant to postponement to this date, the Board meets to
remonstrances, if any, of persons primarily assessed on accc.:t
of -improvement of the alley between Sputh 7th & 8th Street,
South "C" Street south, by constructing a sanitary sewer ana
coneretb,.,roadway as provided under Improvement itesolution,;c.
447-1910. After hearing all persons interested who appeareds::
carefully considering a verbal remonstrance presented byLr,
Thos. he Jessup, protesting against the assessment made a¢ai
his property, the Board on motion overruled the same, and nu
the Board approved a final assessment roll, confirming the r.-
ginal assessment roll, as heretofore approved, and now direct
that the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of
Finance.

The Board of Public 'Works of the City of nichmond Indiana,
met in regular seesi on at the office of said Board L'onda
October llth, 19159 at 9 o'clpckA. 1.1, All the members of
Said Board being present, Mesere, Bevies llarlatt and licLinn.
The following proceedinge were had, to -wit;.
Permission vo'as granted G. W1116tte to construct a drivewa
under private contract across the walk at 202 IM 5th Street. y
The Board meets to hear all persons interested, or whose property
is affected by the vacation of a portion of highway known as
Knollenberg Lane or Kings Lane" by vacating a strip of ground
12' wide off the north & south side thereof, from 5th to 7th St.
under Declaratory itesolution No. 111.1915, 110 one appearing or
remonstrating against said vacation, and being fully advised in
the premises, the Board takes final action on said resolution,
confirming, without modification all former action heretofore
taken on same. And the Board now orders a list or roll prepared
of all owners or holders of property, and of valuable interests
therein, sought to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which
list or roll shall also describe the property beneficially effected.
The City Civil Engineer, reported the completion of contract under
Improvement nes olution No. 472-1915, for improvement of Sheridan
Ste by constructing cement curb and concrete roadway, from nich-
mond Ave, to School Street, the Board takes same under advisement
for investigation of work before same is accepted.
The Board award to G. C. Flinders, contract for painting the stack
at Crematory for the amount of ,25.0C, complete.
The Board instruet the City Engineer, to make investigation as to
whether the City, has not enough 2nd hand brick on hands, to pave
the Hay luarket grounds on South 5th & "A" Street, and report back
to Board.
Park Sup,t., Ford, requested that about 6 lights be left in Glen
Park, through the winter to burn to 10 o'clock P. 11. also re9uest-
od dead pole removed from 212 North 21st Street, referred to
Sup'ts of Park & Light Plant.
