At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Latta opened the meeting with the pledge to
the flag.
Roll call was taken, all members were present.
L. Kelly moved to approve the Agenda with changes: Item 3 (Award
of Bid - Wastewater Plant Expansion) and Item 4 (Phase II
Southside Sewer anal Sewer Extension) moved to after the Executive
Session, before the adjournment of the meeting. Seconded by D.
Lewin. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
L. Kelly moved to adapt Ordinance No. 1295 Authorizing The
Execution Of A Certain Annexation Agreement Between The, Village
Of Plainfield, Illinois, And Wickes Lumber Company, A Delaware
Corporation. Seconded by J. Dement. Vote by roll call. Sharp,
yes; Dement, yes; Gaylord, yes; Gullicksen, yes; Ke11y, yes;
Lewin, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
L. Kelly moved to adopt Ordinance No. 1296 Annexing Property
Owned By Wickes Lumber Company, A Delaware Corporation. Seconded
by D. Lewin. Vote by roll calla Sharp, yes; Dement, yes;
Gaylord, yes; Gullicksen, yes; Kelly, yes; Lewin, yes. 6 yes, 0
no. Motion carried.
L. Kelly moved to adopt Ordinance No. 1297 Rezoning Of Property
Owned By Wickes Lumber Company, A Delaware Corporation, (rezoned
from Residence A to I-1). Seconded by W. Sharp. Vote by roll
call. Sharp, yes; Dement, yes; Gaylord, yes; Gullicksen, yes;
Kelly, yes; Lewin, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
W. Sharp moved to adopt ordinance No. 1298 Authorizing The

Motion carried.
D. Lewin moved to adjourn into Executive Session for employment
of an employee and possible litigation, to reconvene. Seconded
by J. Dement. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.

Mayor Latta reported the Board is not ready to award the bids for
Bid Opening of November 17, 198.9. We do have sixty (60) days far
the Wastewater Plan Expansion and forty-five (45) days for Phase
II Southside Sewer/Water Extension before we must award the bids.
L. Kelly moved to terminate Roger Wojtecki, effective this date
(November 27, 1989), and he will be ,paid two (2) weeks severance
pay. Seconded by D. Lewin. Vote by roll call. Sharp, yes;
Dement, yes; Gaylord, yes; Gullicksen, yes; Ke11y, yes; Lewin,
yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
w. Sharp moved to terminate Kimberly Miller, effective this date
(November 27, 1989), and she will be paid two (2) weeks severance
pay. Seconded by L. Lewin. Vote by roll call. Sharp, yes;
Dement, yes; Gaylord, yes; Gullicksen, yes; Kelly, yes; Lewin,
yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
