The Board of Public "Works of the City of hichmond, Indiana, met in adjourned session at the office of said Board Wednesday November 24th, 1915, at 9 o' cl ock A. 1% The following members being present, L;essrs, Bavic & McLlinn, Absent Yr. L;arlatt, card being present, the followinp, proceed - Two members of said ings were had, to -wit;- Pursuant to postponement the Board take up the bids on printiro and binding the City Ordinances, submitted Monday November 22nd, 1915. L:r. G. Ballinger appeared before the Board, stating that the bid of the Ballinger Co. , was based or, the copies consisting of approximately 400 pages; and if they contained more than 400 pages the amount of 41.56*¢ per printed page should be added& if the copies contained less than 400 pages the amount of $1$5614 should be deducted per printed page less the 400 pages, on motion of Kr. McMinn the contract was awarded to the said Gem. Ballin- er Co. ,and the City Attorney instructed to draw up contracts & bonds for said works consisting of 250 volumes. The Strret Commissioner was directed to construct railing at the South "D" St, viaduct under the C. & U. Ity., trucks, The Board approved a contract between the Li. id• L• & P. P. and the hichmond Gravel Co. , in the matter of light & power to be furnished said gravel company. The Sup't., of City Light Plant, was directed to construct a Tole line for street lighting on national hoad, from Main Street to Southrest 2nd Street. The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if say, of persons primar- ily assessed on account of the improvEcsat of North & South 6th Street, by constructing a concrete roadway from South "A" Street north to Ft -Wayne Avenue , as Provided for by Improvement icesolu- tion No. 444-1915• No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll, confirming the original assess- ment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forthvl th to the Department of Finance. The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primer- ily assessed on account of the construction of cement sidewalks 6' wide on both sides of West 7th Street, from Netional Road to Pearl Street, under Improvement resolution No. 471-1915, No one remonstrating , the Board approved a final assessment roll, con- fi rming in all things the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and nor direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. The Board meets to hear remonstrances, if any, of persons primar- ily assessed on account of the construction of a sanitary sewer in the alley west of Sheridan Street, from Laurel Street north to the first alley, under Improvement resolution No. 481-1915. No one appearing or remonstrating, the Board approved a final assessment roll, confirming in all things the original assessment heretofore anrroved, and now direct the same be transmitted forth- with to the Department of Finance.
