RESCHEDULED MEETING FROM SEPTEMBER 4, 1989

Administrator Pusinelli spoke in reference to the Southside Sewer
and Water Extension Project - Payout #4. Staff recommends payout
#~ in the amount of $114,905.25 be paid to Louis Ruffolo and Son
Construction Company upon receipt by the Village of all
applicable waivers of lien. Staff further recommends that this
amount be charged to Capital Improvements Funds Account No. 11-
10-00-0501. The funds for this project have been provided by the
sale of the Village's General Obligation "Alternate" Bonds.
D. Gullicksen moved to approve payout #4 for the Southside Sewer
and Water Extension Project in the amount of $114,905.25 to Louis
Ruffolo and Sons upon receipt of all applicable waivers of lien.
Seconded by J. Gaylord. Vote by roll call. Gaylord, yes;
Dement, yes; Sharp, yes; Lewin, yes; Kelly, yes; Gullicksen, yes.
6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
L. Kelly spoke in reference to a larger vehicle in the Street
Department to plow snow on the streets of the outline areas that
have been annexed. He and. Ron Miller went to Springfield to look
over the used equipment at Top Value Motors who sell State
equipment that has been overhauled and like new. At this time
their inventory is low but in November, they will have a better
selection. Administrator Pusinelli stated we are having a
meeting with the Township this week in reference to snow plowing
in the outline areas. J. Dement stated we are also looking into
a street sweeper and/or street vacuum. We could need a dual axle
dump far plowing the outline area and it would be very costly.
W. Sharp stated we need a report to the Board after the meeting
with the Township Supervisor Larry 'See, Mark Pusinelli and Ran
Miller. J. Dement stated we do contract a lot of our snow

plowing out and they do have the equipment to handle the snow.
Village Clerk reported the Contractor Bid Opening for Snow
Removal is scheduled for next week (October 16, 1989). J. Dement
stated the Street Department will be giving the Board a schedule
as to the equipment use and who is using the equipment.
W. Sharp moved to approve payment of the bills far the period of
September 1st through September 15, 1989. Seconded by D.
Gullicksen. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
D. Lewin moved to adjourn. Seconded by W. Sharp. Voice vote. 6
yes, 0 no., Motion carried.
