met in regular sessi on at the office of said Board Thursday
December 23rd, 1915, at 9 o'clock A. V, The following members
of said Board being present, Mecsra, Marlatt & McMinn, absent
yr. Bawis. Two members being present, the following proceedings
were had, to -wit: -
The Board meets to hear re'onstrances, if any, of persons pri-
marily assessed in the matter of the vacation of a portion M
what is known as "Knollenberg' a Lane" or King's Lane" from Wee%
5th to West 7th Street, as provided in Declaratory Resolution
ro. 111-1915, tfter hearing all persons interested afro appeared
(no one appearing) and being fully advised in the premises,
the Board approved a final assessment roll of benefits & damages
confirming in all things the original assessment roll as hereto
fore approved, and thereupon declare said portion of said lane
vacated, and now direct that a copy of the aforesaid aseessnent
roll be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance,
The Board direct the Superintendent of City Light Plant, to here
Chief Engineer Howard Gluye, make a trip to various places fcr
the purpose of investigating the various types of Turbin Engine
so as to be in a position to assist the City in the purchase d
new unit for said plant.
The Board then ad ourned,

The Board meets to hear remonstranoes,if any, of persona pri-
marily assessed on account of the improvement of the alley be-
tween South 7th & 6th Street, by constructing a cement roadway
therein from present alley improvement hesolution go, 447-1915
to South "E" Street, under Improvement heeolution Bo. 472-1915,
A remonstrance signed by John B, Meerhoff & 14 others against
accepting said alley, stating the same is not properly made and
being full of cracks and law places, the Board postpone action
on said hearing for two weeks to January 13th, 1916.
The Board on mo ti on purchased the ground 'known as the Doren bridge
dump, Lot Pt-7, and other round described in abstract and deed
therefore, for the sum of j5C0.00, from Elizabeth C. Marmon, &
order the Finance Department to issue voucher for payment of
same .
In order to clean up the year as nearly ss possible, the Board
allow bills properly endorsed to the amount of $1167,93,

dan Street, for the sum of $125.00, and the City to purchase
directed to issue voucher from the approTriation to Gordon, in
damp property on west side 1n favor of Margaret T.
the sum of Z1259000 also the cost of concrete strorderto take
on said property in favor of County Treasurer in
UP same out of this years appropriations
