A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A MONTH TO MONTH AGREEMENT
WITH ALL CITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES (ACMS) FOR CROSSING GUARD
SERVICES UNTIL THE RFP PROCESS IS COMPLETED IN SEPTEMBER
WHEREAS, the City contracts to provide crossing guard services at designated
locations at and around schools throughout the community; and
WHEREAS, on August 16, 2014 the three year contract with All City.
Management Services (ACMS) expired; and
WHEREAS, an RFP has been issued but will not be completed until September
16, 2014; and
WHEREAS, in the interim All City Management Services has agreed to provide
services on a month to month basis until a new provider can be selected; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves the extension and amendment to the
professional services contract agreement with All City Management Services (ACMS)
on a month to month basis until the FRP process is complete and a company is
selected.
Section 2. That the City Council authorizes the extension of the agreement not
to exceed $54,000 until the RFP process is completed.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
