At 7:15 p.m. President Peterson opened the Public Hearing.
All were present.
Riviera Estates Annexation Agreement. The 10.68 acre subdivision
is proposed for the O'Donnell. property on Route 59 north of the
Golden Meadows subdivision. The agreement includes the extension
of Village water and sewer east on 135th and north along Route 59.
The Village will share half the cost with the developer. The
Village will recapture its cost when the commercial property at the
northwest corner of 135th Street and Route 59 is developed.
Trustees discussed concerns they have regarding the sewer and water
extension along Rt. 59. It was the consensus of the Board not to
pursue sewer extension through the back process, but along Rt. 59
the way it was engineered originally.
Duane Linden, Architect and Planner for O'Donnell was present.
M. Lambert moved to adjourn the Public Hearing and reconvene to the
Regular Meeting. Seconded by J. Ray. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no.
Motion carried.
