The Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday January lCth, 19161 at 9 o'clock a. M, The following members of said Board being present, ►Iessre, Bavis and tiarlatt, Absent L're gelilnne Two members being present, the following proceedings were had, to -wit: - The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No, 484- 1916, for the improvement ofSouth one ofStreet, from Lain to ds modem South A Street, by paving with City pavements, to -wit:- Asphalt - Brick - Concrete - Creosoted Wooden Block and constructing a Sewer wi th the necessary ap- purtancese The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Resolution No. 485- 1916, for the improvement of nichmond avenue, from Doran Bridge to West 5th Street; by paving the roadway wd th Asphalt - Brick - Concrete - Creosoted Wooden Block, and resetting the old curbicg and constructing new curbing where needed. The Street Commissi oner was di rected to clean the sewer near Southwest sewer system and constrict necessary catch basin. J The Board of Public 'Norks of the City of Richmond Indiana met in revular session at the office of said Indiana January 13th, 1716, at 9 o'clock 1, 1% The ffollowin c.F-to. of said Board being present, 'Sesera, Bevis and Marlatt, McUinna o mmbers gngs were hadv,toewit:. being present, the following I: The Board postponed ecti on on the adoption_ of the final assess- ment roll for the improvement of the alley betr:een South 7th & 8th Street, from South "B" Street north, es provided by Improve- ment resolution NO, 473-1915, until such time as a full Board is present to consider the same, ;hereas, the Board is of the opinion that the gathering of rub- bish, ashes etc., from the alleys can now be taken care of by the Street Cocv:.issioner, without the help of an alley foreman, Yr. ldarlatt, moved the Clerk be directed to notify Yr, John Heidelman, present alley foreman, that this work will be taken care of by the Street Commissioner, and his services as such foreman will be dispensed with after February let, 1916, motion prevailed and Clerk so directed, A Fetition signed by E. B. Grosvenor at al, was presented for the improvement of the alley between North loth & llth Street, by constructing a cement roadway, from 1st alley north of Bain Street to north "A" Street, which was on motion referred to the City Civil Enerineer, for plans ect,, The Board then adjourned, d`,teet; r resr en \P oar v v C e r o oa
