A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE, PURCHASE OF AN ARTICULATED WHEEL LOADER FOR A
TOTAL OF $141,463.48, BY PIGGYBACKING OFF CITY ;OF LOS ANGELES,
DEPARTMENT OF AIRPORT CONTRACT
WHEREAS, the City has set aside funds for vehicle and equipment replacement
in the FY 2014 -15 Budget, Garage Fund Account No. 7011.45.420; and
WHEREAS, the new Case articulated wheel loader vehicle will be used by the
Public Works Department to clean alleys, repair streets and perform various
maintenance activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council authorizes the purchase of a Case articulated
wheel loader 521 F, through piggybacking off the City of Los Angeles, Department of
Airport, Authorization number 489 -5210 -250 and a Request for Bid No. 111 -162, dated
February 21, 2013, from the low bidder, Sonsray Machinery, Santa Fe Springs,
California in the amount of $141,463.48
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2 r day of September, 2014.
