A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO THE
AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA CONSULTING, LLC TO PROVIDE GRANT
WRITING SERVICES
WHEREAS, on September 3, 2013, the City Council amended the City's prior
agreement (Amendment No. 1) with California Consulting, LLC to extend grant writing
services for another year,at,a monthly compensation rate of $3,000; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 of the consulting services agreement is set to
expire on September 3, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the cost for this service is $36,000 for a one year grant period.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves California Consulting LLC to continue to
provide grant writing services to the City.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute a one -year extension to the
agreement with California Consulting LLC approved as to form by the City Attorney.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2rd day of September, 2014.
