A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
SYNCHRONIZATION PROGRAM AGREEMENT AMENDMENT NO. 1, BETWEEN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, Traffic Signal Synchronization Program (TSSP) project is designed
to increase traffic mobility and relieve existing traffic congestion; and
WHEREAS, this service is of regional and local benefit to commuters and is
being funded and administered by the Los Angeles County Public Works Department;
and
WHEREAS, signal coordination has been completed along three arterials in the
City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 1 is needed to include Alameda Street in the
maintenance responsibilities of intersections that are part of the TSSP projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute.the Traffic Signal
Synchronization Program Cooperative Agreement, Amendment No. 1 between the City
of Lynwood and the County of Los Angeles in a form to be approved by the City
Attorney.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
