A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
SUPPORT, IN THE FORM OF. MARKETING SERVICES, TO BE SOCIAL
PRODUCTIONS FOR A BACK TO SCHOOL HEALTH FAIR
WHEREAS, a request was made by Be Social Productions and the Consulate
General of Mexico; and
WHEREAS, to inform and provide resources to parents and students to live
healthier lifestyles and to offer families that have little or no access to health care an
opportunity to examine their children for health issues prior to the new school year; and
WHEREAS, the event will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Plaza
Mexico in Lynwood;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approves providing Be Social Productions with
promotional and marketing support;
Section 2. The City Council further finds that the proposed event provides a
public benefit in the form of bringing health awareness and resources directly to the
community, particularly families with children, getting ready to go back to school.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 2014.
