PUBLIC HEARING

At 7:19 p.m. President Peterson called the Public Hearing to order.
The entire roll call from the regular meeting will stand far the
Public Hearing.
DISCUSSION - RENWICK POTNTE SUBDIVISTON UNIT 2 ANNEXATION
AGREEMENT.
Planner Waldock spoke regarding an Amendment to the Annexation
Agreement for the portion of the Spangler Farm now being developed
as Renwick Pointe Subdivision. This Annexation Agreement Amendment
will allow for an increase in the total number of lots for Renwick
Pointe, Unit 2 from 24 to 26 Lots. Mast of the lot depths will
remain the same. The proposal will allow for the reduction in lot
width from 85 ft. as required to 77.5 ft. as proposed. This will
not affect the minimum lot area for the subdivision, which remains
at 12,000 sq. ft. The Annexation Agreement as amended provides
that the owners shall pay an impact fee of $1000 per lot to the
Village of Plainfield for a total of $26,000 aver the Una.t 2 area.
This fee is payable per 1,ot at the time of issuance of Occupancy
Certificates for each resident. The plat has been submitted for
Planning Commission consideration. The Final Flat is consistent
with the Preliminary Plat with the exception of the width revisions
as discussed in the amended agreement. Staff has no objections to
the Annexation Agreement Amendment.
Mr. Scott Abderhatten from the audience questioned the reasoning
behind the decrease in the width of the lots. Planner Waldock
explained that he actually increases his yield by two lots.
M. Lambert moved to adjourn the Public Hearing. Seconded by J.
Ray. Voice vote. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.

meeting.
