7:15 p.m. President Peterson called the Public Hearing to order,
prior roll call standing as the roll call for the Public Hearing.
Administration Van Vooren addressed the Board and briefly explained
the Appropriation Ordinance, which is a legal constraint by which
the Village operates under. It establishes the authority for the
Village to spend money. It provides for expenditures of
approximately, $14.7 million in the fiscal year 1994-95. The
proposed Ordinance has been available at the Village Hall since the
publication appeared in the Enterprise on June 29, 1994.
Trustee Dement made one important comment regarding the
Appropriation Ordinance and that was to note that the general total
tax rate is projected to go down again.
There was no public comment.
M. Lambert moved to close the Public Hearing. Seconded by L. Kelly.
Voice vote. 5 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
