The Board of Public works of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session at the office of said Board Lionday

The Board approved a primary assessment roll of benefits and
dara¢es in the matter of opening alley betweem South Piet & n2nd
Street, from South "A" Street south to north line of Tract 537,
official Lap, under Declaratory resolution No. I12-1916.
The Board unanimously adouted Improvement itesoluti on No. 50t-
1916, for the improvement of Southwest 9th Street, by construct,
ing cement curb ,gutter, 5'walks on both sides and grading the
roadway & paving the same rith one of the following kinds of
pavements, Concrete-Bitumenous Macadam- Bitumen}ious Concrete
or Brick, from National Road to Southwest "A" Street.
The Board unanimously adopted Improvement Reeolution No. 503-
1916, for constructing a comment roadway in the alley between
Boyer & itidge Street, from School Street to the let alley south
of Grant Street.
The Board a�rroved the various pay -rolls to 1.1arch 16th, 1916,
Claims to the amount of y4377.19, were allowed & ordered paid.
The Board did then adjourn,

In the alley let vest of hidge Street, from School to "ple
Street, and the Board unanimously adopted lmprovement neeo-
luti on No. 504-191G, for the improvement of the alley between
Hidge & Hunt Street, by constructing a cement roadray the full
width thereof, from Kaple to School Street.
A petition was presented for the widening of the alley first
south of West Main Street, r1rnning from Southwest 4th Street
rest, vhich was referred to the Barineer for plena and epeci-
ficatione.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bide for the raintir.-
of the buildings at the Detention Hospital,
