EMERGENCY MEETING
DATE: JULY 23, 1996 AT: PETERSON & WHITLEY LAW OFFICES
704 N. DES PLAINES STREET
PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS
MEMBERS OF BOARD PRESENT:
PRESIDENT PETERSON, R. ROCK,
K. STALZER.
OTHERS PRESENT:
P. MCDONALD -ADMINISTRATOR
S. JANIK -CLERK
D. BENNETT -CHIEF OF POLICE
At 5:30 p.m. the meeting was called to order. Due to the lack of a quorum the meeting was
cancelled. Discussion was continued for a Workshop.
President Peterson discussed briefly concerns he had regarding trash/gazbage pick-up over the
next few weeks. ESDA was also discussed in detail.
Administrator McDonald explained that he has verbally negotiated a new phone system for the
Permanent Public Safety Department and will be in the neighborhood of $15,000.00, and
possibily an additional component in the amount of $4,000.00.
Discussion took place on a new location for the PlanningBuilding Department. The Police will
completely take over 1400 N. Division Street building and it was suggested to Mr. McDonald to
check our the possibility of moving all (Administration, Planning and Building) to a rental in the
Lily Cache Plaza.
Discussion took place in placing a Bond referendum on the November ballot for a new Village of
Plainfield Hall.
The members of the Board present decided that they would have a Special meeting of the Village
Boazd on Thursday, 7:00 p.m., July 25, 1996 at Peterson & Whitley Office to discuss concerns
and pick-up associated with the flood.
Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
