AWARDING BID FOR
SNACK STAND AT WATERFRONT PARK
AND HOTHOUSE AT CARTERET PARK
WHEREAS, the Borough has publicly advertised for the receipt of
g P Y p beds for operators for
the Snack Stand at Carteret Waterfront Park & the Hothouse at Carteret Park; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has solicited and received one (1) bid proposal for operators
for the Snack Stand at Carteret Waterfront Park & the Hothouse at Carteret Park; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed the above bid proposal and has
recommended the award of a contract to Maglione's Italian Ices, LLC, 111 Madison
Street, Iselin, NJ 08830.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Maglione's Italian Ices, LLC, of Iselin,
N.J. for the operation of the Snack Stand at Carteret Park &
Hothouse at Carteret Park as described above in accordance in all
respects with the request for proposals and bid on same.
2. That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department, the Borough Director of Engineering, the
Carteret Port Authority and the Carteret Business Partnership.
Adopted this 22 day of March, 2018
and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 23, 2018.
